Junaid's double-double send Rutgers past Army

Dec 9, 2007 - 1:27 AM NEW YORK (Ticker) -- Rashidat Junaid had 15 points and 10 rebounds to power No. 3 over Army, 59-42, in the second game of the Maggie Dixon Classic on Saturday.

The inaugural Maggie Dixon Classic was played at West Point last year in honor of their late coach who died on April 6, 2006, of arrhythmia. Her death came three weeks after her first season as a head coach.

The game capped off a historic doubleheader - Duke defeated Pittsburgh, 51-49, in the first game - as it was the first women's doubleheader at Madison Square Garden in 26 years.

Brittany Ray poured in 13 points for the Scarlet Knights (6-2), who enjoyed a 35-18 advantage on the boards

Alex McGuire scored 13 points to pace Army (5-4).
