North Carolina uses balanced attack to crush Wofford
Dec 9, 2007 - 9:57 PM CHAPEL HILL, North Carolina (Ticker) -- Cetera DeGraffenreid scored 17 points off the bench to lead four others in double figures as No. 4 North Carolina rolled to a 102-42 win over Wofford on Sunday.Rebecca Gray poured in 12 points and Rashanda McCants added 11 for the Tar Heels, who shot 48 percent (19-of-39 ) from the field in the first half en route to a 55-18 edge at the break.
Erlana Larkins had 10 points and two steals and Italee Lucas also scored 10 as North Carolina (10-1) shot a blistering 54 percent (38-of-70) overall.
Natalie Gramblin registered seven points and three steals for Wofford (3-4), which committed 29 turnovers and was outrebounded, 61-29.
