Thompson, Arizona State easily handle UC Davis
Dec 10, 2007 - 1:19 AM TEMPE, Arizona (Ticker) -- Kirsten Thompson scored 16 points and Briann January added 14 as No. 19 Arizona State rolled to a 77-56 victory over UC Davis on Sunday.Thompson hit all seven of her field-goal attempts off the bench, and scored 10 points in the first half to help the Sun Devils to a 34-17 lead at the break.
Lauren Lacey scored 10 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for Arizona State (5-3), which shot 55 percent (30-of-54) from the floor.
Haylee Donaghe scored 13 points for the Aggies (5-3), who shot 42 percent (19-of-45) from the floor.
