Baylor uses huge run to blow past Oregon

Dec 13, 2007 - 6:35 AM WACO, Texas (Ticker) -- Angela Tisdale scored 24 points as No. 10 Baylor used a huge run to blow past Oregon, 80-45, on Wednesday.

With the game tied at 8-8, the Bears outscored the Ducks, 36-3, over the final 14:49 of the first half to take a 44-11 lead at the break.

Oregon (5-4) missed 16 consecutive shots during the decisive run, and only shot 23 percent (13-of-56) for the game overall.

Baylor (7-0) led by as many as 41 in the second half and forced 27 Bears turnovers for the game.

Jhasmin Player scored 15 points and Jessica Morrow added 14 for Baylor, which is 7-0 for the second time in three years.
