Sanni powers West Virginia past Oakland
Dec 18, 2007 - 3:34 AM ROCHESTER, Michigan (Ticker) -- Olayinka Sanni had 29 points and 10 rebounds as No. 13 West Virginia dominated in the paint en route to an 84-65 victory over Oakland on Monday.West Virginia (10-1) outscored the Golden Grizzlies, 36-14, in the paint keyed by Sanni, who went 12-of-18 from the field.
Meg Bulger added 21 points and Chakhia Cole had eight points, 13 rebounds and seven assists for the Mountaineers, who shot 50 percent (30-of-60) for the game.
Anna Patritto scored 17 points off the bench to lead four Oakland (6-3) players in double figures.
