Dec 18, 2007 - 5:15 AM STORRS, Connecticut (Ticker) -- Tina Charles had 23 points and 10 rebounds to lead No. 2 Connecticut to a 97-39 victory over South Carolina on Monday night.Ketia Swanier scored 15 points and freshman Maya Moore added 10, eight rebounds and five blocked shots for the Huskies (8-0), who led, 43-19, at halftime.
UConn forced 23 turnovers that led to 35 points and had a 22-0 lead in fast-break points over the Lady Gamecocks (7-3).
Ilona Burgrova scored 11 points for South Carolina, which shot a dreadful 21 percent (13-of-62) from the floor.
