Wirth scores 16 points as Vanderbilt routs Lipscomb
Dec 23, 2007 - 1:45 AM NASHVILLE, Tennessee (Ticker) -- Christina Wirth scored 16 points as No. 19 Vanderbilt pounded Lipscomb, 92-37, on Saturday.Jennifer Risper and Merideth Marsh added 13 points apiece for the Commodores (9-3), whose starting five combined to shoot 20-of-26 from the floor.
Vanderbilt shot 67 percent (18-of-27) from the floor in the first half en route to a 51-16 lead and finished the game at 58.5 percent (31-of-53).
Katie Rollins scored eight points for Lipscomb (2-10), which shot 23.5 percent (12-of-51), was outrebounded, 44-25, and committed 22 turnovers.
