Baylor uses huge first half to post blowout win
Jan 3, 2008 - 5:29 AM WACO, Texas (Ticker) -- Rachel Allison scored a career-high 28 points and Angela Tisdale added 22 as ninth-ranked Baylor coasted to an 89-48 victory over North Carolina A&T on Wednesday.Allison shot 10-of-14 from the floor and also grabbed eight rebounds for the Lady Bears (11-1), who shot an astounding 80 percent (20-of-25) in the first half en route to a 54-16 lead.
Tisdale hit two of her five 3-pointers during a 31-4 first-half run that put the game out of reach.
Jalessa Sams scored 12 points for the Aggies (7-5), who shot just 22 percent (7-of-31) in the first half.
