Wyoming collects eighth straight win
Jan 12, 2008 - 11:35 PM LARAMIE, Wyoming (Ticker) -- Justyna Podziemska scored 19 points Saturday, leading Wyoming to a 62-45 victory over TCU in a Mountain West Conference contest.Podziemska helped the 22nd-ranked Cowgirls (14-1, 2-0 MWC) post their eighth straight win since their only loss - 69-55 at Colorado - on December 5.
Elisabeth Dissen added 10 points on 5-of-5 shooting for Wyoming, which only shot 41 percent (24-of-58) but blocked 11 shots and held TCU to under 27 percent from the field (16-of-60).
Lori Butler-Rayford and Adrianne Ross paced the Horned Frogs (8-8, 1-1) with just nine points apiece.
