Wiggins helps Stanford rout Oregon
Jan 13, 2008 - 5:14 AM PALO ALTO, California (Ticker) -- Candice Wiggins scored 20 points and Jillian Harmon and Jeanette Pohlen added 15 apiece as seventh-ranked Stanford routed Oregon, 83-49, in a Pac-10 Conference matchup on Saturday night.It was an easy victory for the Cardinal (14-3, 4-2 Pac-10), who shot 51.5 percent (34-of-66) from the field and forced 27 turnovers by the Ducks.
Wiggins overcame a poor shooting night to lead Stanford to the victory, hitting just 8-of-20 shots from the field, including 1-of-7 from the arc.
Her team's lone double-figure scorer, Ellie Manou scored 10 points for Oregon (8-8, 2-3), which shot just 37 percent (18-of-49) from the floor.
