Allison's 11 points helps Baylor cruise past Kansas
Jan 17, 2008 - 2:55 AM WACO, Texas (Ticker) -- Rachel Allison scored 11 points as seventh-ranked Baylor did just enough en route to posting a 59-35 victory over Kansas in a Big 12 Conference matchup on Wednesday.Jessica Morrow had 10 points and Jhasmin Player and Danielle Wilson added nine each for the Lady Bears (15-1, 3-0 Big 12), who won their eighth straight game despite shooting 32 percent (18-of-56) and committing 15 turnovers.
Allison, who was 0-of-2 from the floor, made 11 of 12 foul shots for Baylor, which had a 12-0 advantage in fast-break points.
Reserve LaChelda Jacobs scored nine points and Taylor McIntosh added eight for the Jayhawks (11-5, 0-3), who have dropped three straight.
