Bjorklund, fast start helps Tennessee rout Arkansas

Jan 25, 2008 - 4:23 AM KNOXVILLE, Tennessee (Ticker) -- Freshman Angie Bjorklund made seven 3-pointers en route to a season-high 29 points as No. 2 Tennessee cruised to a 98-55 victory over Arkansas in a Southeastern Conference rout on Thursday.

Candace Parker added 24 points and Nicky Anosike had 12 and 11 rebounds as the Volunteers used a fast start to quickly establish their dominance.

Tennessee (17-1, 5-0 SEC) scored the game's first 18 points - 11 from Bjorklund - and cruised to a 56-28 advantage at the break after Parker scored the final four points of the first half.

Arkansas (16-4, 1-4) trailed by at least 30 points for the majority of the second half, shooting just 35 percent (20-of-57) and committing 21 turnovers for the game.

Sarah Pfeifer had 16 points and Ayana Brereton added 13 for the Razorbacks, who have lost four of their last five.
