Michael leads Syracuse in rout over St. Johns
Jan 26, 2008 - 9:54 PM SYRACUSE, New York (Ticker) -- Nicole Michael had 20 points and eight rebounds to help No. 24 Syracuse to an 80-52 rout of St. Johns in Big East Conference action on Saturday.Chandrea Jones added 16 points and 11 rebounds for the Lady Orange (16-3, 4-2 Big East), who have won consecutive games in conference play for the first time this season.
Syracuse converted 21 turnovers in 30 points, while holding St. John's to 31 percent (18-of-58) shooting.
Tiina Sten scored 11 points to pace the Red Storm (10-9, 1-5).
