Wilson leads Baylor past Texas Tech
Feb 9, 2008 - 9:45 PM WACO, Texas (Ticker) -- Danielle Wilson scored 18 points for No. 5 Baylor en route to a 68-45 victory over Big 12 rival Texas Tech on Saturday.Rachel Allison added 13 points and 12 rebounds for the Lady Bears (21-2, 9-1 Big 12), who overcame their first conference loss on Tuesday with their fifth straight win over the Lady Raiders.
Baylor, which led by as many as 27 points late in the second half, used stifling defense to put Texas Tech away early, forcing 24 turnovers and holding the Lady Raiders to 25 percent (16-for-65) shooting from the field for the contest.
Stanecia Graham led Texas Tech (14-9, 2-7) with 11 points and 14 rebounds.
