Wiggins, Pedersen lead Stanford to 10th straight win
Feb 10, 2008 - 6:12 AM CORVALLIS, Oregon (Ticker) -- Candice Wiggins scored 25 points and Kayla Pedersen added 21 and 11 rebounds as sixth-ranked Stanford won its 10th straight game, 69-59 over Oregon State in a Pac-10 Conference matchup Saturday.Jayne Appel chipped in 12 points and 11 rebounds for the Cardinal, who held a 35-21 lead at the break.
Stanford (22-3, 11-2 Pac-10) maintained a double-digit lead for the entire second half and led by as many as 56-35 following a 13-3 spurt with 9:04 left to play.
Ashley Allen scored 17 points and Cedes Fox-Griffin added 13 and eight assists to pace the Beavers (10-14, 3-10), who have lost six in a row.
