Riley's 21 points help Oklahoma State edge Texas Tech

Feb 15, 2008 - 4:05 AM LUBBOCK, Texas (Ticker) -- Andrea Riley scored 19 of her game-high 21 points in the second half as No. 15 Oklahoma State topped Texas Tech, 58-56, in a Big 12 Conference game on Thursday.

Taylor Hardeman scored 15 points - all on 3-pointers - and Maria Cordero grabbed 10 rebounds for the Cowgirls (20-3, 8-2), who watched Shaunte' Smith convert a pair of free throws with two seconds left to give Oklahoma State the victory.

Riley, who connected on 6-of-19 from the floor, reeled off 10 consecutive points to help Oklahoma State grab a five-point lead late in the game. Hardeman drilled four shots from the arc in the first half to keep the Cowgirls within one at 22-21 at the break.

Stanecia Graham had 14 points and eight rebounds and Dominic Seals added 12 and seven for the Lady Raiders (14-10, 2-8), who lost for the first time in eight games in the series.
