Thompson, Paris too much for Oklahoma State
Feb 23, 2008 - 10:17 PM NORMAN, Oklahoma (Ticker) -- Amanda Thompson had 23 points and 13 rebounds for No. 10 Oklahoma en route to an 81-71 victory over No. 17 Oklahoma State in Big 12 Conference action on Saturday.Courtney Paris added 18 points and 15 boards en route to her 86th consecutive double-double for the Sooners (20-5, 10-3 Big 12), who enjoyed a 54-29 rebounding advantage over the Cowgirls.
The advantage on the boards was symbolic of Oklahoma's domination inside the paint, where it outscored Oklahoma State, 42-26.
Andrea Riley had 26 points and Danielle Green added 18 and 10 rebounds for the Cowgirls (21-5, 9-4).
