Sanni guides West Virginia past Villanova
Feb 24, 2008 - 1:00 AM MORGANTOWN, West Virginia (Ticker) -- Olayinka Sanni scored 21 points to lead No. 13 West Virginia to a 76-55 victory over Villanova in Big East Conference play on Saturday.Meg Bulger added 12 points for the Mountaineers (22-4, 11-2 Big East), who won for the 11 time in their last 12 games.
West Virginia shot 51 percent (29-of-57) from the field, leading the Mountaineers to a 38-22 advantage in the paint.
Laura Kurz and Maria Getty each scored 11 points for the Wildcats (15-12, 5-9).
