Tisdale's 30 points carries Baylor by Colorado
Feb 28, 2008 - 5:11 AM WACO, Texas (Ticker) -- Angela Tisdale poured in 30 points to lead No. 8 Baylor to a 76-62 victory over Big 12 Conference foe Colorado on Wednesday night.Rachel Allison collected 13 points and seven rebounds and Kelli Griffin scored 11 as the Lady Bears (24-3, 12-2 Big 12) forced 19 turnovers.
Hannah Skildum's jumper closed Colorado's deficit to 48-45 with 11:11 left in the second half. But with Baylor in the bonus, Tisdale knocked down eight free throws during a 15-5 run that created a 13-point advantage.
Tisdale finished 17-of-19 from the line.
Jackie McFarland had 20 points and seven rebounds and Brittany Spears chipped in 16 and 14 for Colorado (15-12, 4-10), which shot 46 percent (26-of-56) from the field.
