Kansas State holds off Nebraska
Feb 28, 2008 - 5:57 AM MANHATTAN, Kansas (Ticker) -- Kimberly Dietz scored 19 points to lead No. 17 Kansas State to a 69-65 victory over Nebraska in a Big 12 Conference matchup on Wednesday.Ashley Sweat scored 12 points and Shalee Lehning added 11 and 12 assists for the Wildcats (19-8, 11-3 Big 12).
Kansas State won despite shooting 5-of-20 from the arc and being outrebounded, 35-29. The Wildcats did score 23 points off of 20 turnovers by the Cornhuskers.
Kelsey Griffin scored 17 points and Danielle Page added 12 for Nebraska (18-10, 7-7).
