Parker leads Tennessee in final regular-season game at home
Feb 29, 2008 - 3:18 AM KNOXVILLE, Tennessee (Ticker) -- Candace Parker and Alex Fuller scored 18 points apiece as third-ranked Tennessee posted an 88-61 victory over Florida in the Southeastern Conference on Thursday.Nicky Anosike added 15 points and 12 rebounds for the Lady Volunteers (26-2, 12-1 SEC), who played their final regular-season game at home. Tennessee will wrap up its regular season at Georgia on Sunday.
Parker, who has opted to forego her senior season, was honored along with Tennessee's four seniors. She went 7-of-13 from the field, grabbed six rebounds and blocked two shots.
Sha Brooks scored 27 points for the Gators (16-12, 5-8), who were outrebounded by a 57-35 margin and committed 21 turnovers.
