Mosby leads Baylor past BYU
Nov 17, 2006 - 4:55 AM WACO, Texas (Ticker) -- Bernice Mosby scored 28 points and grabbed eight rebounds as No. 16 Baylor posted a 84-58 victory over 18th-ranked Brigham Young in a non-conference matchup.Mosby made 10-of-18 shots and all eight of her free throws and Angela Tisdale and Jessica Morrow both added 14 points apiece for the Bears (3-0), who outscored the Cougars, 29-13, at the foul line.
Baylor drilled 7-of-13 3-pointers and scored 27 points off 23 turnovers by Brigham Young.
Dani Wright scored 17 points and Jennie Keele added 12 for the Cougars (2-1), who held a 38-34 rebounding edge.
