Mosby leads Baylor to easy win over Southeast Missouri St.

Dec 3, 2006 - 4:18 AM WACO, Texas (Ticker) -- Baylor turned inside to roll to its fifth straight win.

Bernice Mosby scored 21 points and pulled down 13 rebounds as the 13th-ranked Lady Bears posted an 81-47 rout of Southeast Missouri State.

A transfer from Florida, the forward Mosby shot 9-of-15 from the field and grabbed six offensive boards in recording her fifth double-double.

Angela Tisdale scored 17 points and Jessica Morrow and Latara Darrett added 12 apiece for Baylor (8-1), which raced out to a 41-17 lead at the break despite 44 percent (14-of-32) shooting.

Center Rachel Allison grabbed seven boards for the Lady Bears, who held a 54-45 edge in rebounding and 34-16 advantage in points in the paint.

Baylor improved to 39-1 all-time in December under seventh-year coach Kim Mulkey.

Sonya Daugherty scored 12 points and Lachelle Lyles 11 for the Redhawks (2-3), who shot 30 percent (18-of-60) and committed 23 turnovers.
