Hart leads Yale past Dartmouth 38-7

Oct 10, 2009 - 7:29 PM WEST HAVEN, Conn.(AP) -- Brook Hart threw for 390 yards and three touchdowns to lead Yale to a 38-7 win over Dartmouth 38-7 on Saturday.

The Bulldogs (2-2, 1-1 Ivy League) dominated both sides of the ball, racking up 520 yards on offense while holding the Big Green (0-4, 0-2) to 127.

Dartmouth, which lost its 16th straight game, also lost starting quarterback Alex Jenny in the third quarter. The senior's throwing arm was injured after a pass attempt when he was hit by cornerback Adam Money. Jenny did not return.

Hart threw two touchdowns to Jordan Forney, including a 24-yarder with 44 seconds left in the first period. Yale's John Sheffield also caught eight passes for 105 yards and Caleb Smith had 82 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Dartmouth's Conner Kempe, who replaced Jenny, was 6 of 12 for 37 yards, a touchdown and an interception.
