Central Michigan defeats Eastern Michigan 52-14

Sep 18, 2010 - 11:54 PM YPSILANTI, Mich.(AP) -- Paris Cotton rushed for 209 yards and three touchdowns to lead Central Michigan to a 52-14 victory at Eastern Michigan on Saturday.

Ryan Radcliff threw for 254 yards and two TDs for the Chippewas (2-1, 1-1 Mid-American Conference). Central Michigan compiled 523 yards of offense.

Tyrone Burke had six receptions for 47 yards for the Eagles (0-3, 0-2).

Cotton, a junior, had the Chippewas' first 200-yard rushing game since 2004. He had scoring runs of 13 yards and 1 yard in the first half, and his 61-yard TD early in the third quarter gave Central Michigan a 28-7 cushion.

Eastern Michigan used two quarterbacks, with Alex Gillett throwing for 148 yards and Devontae Payne 134. In the fourth quarter, linebacker Mike Petrucci returned a Gillett fumble 43 yards for a touchdown for the Chippewas.
