Dantin leads Toledo past Western Michigan 37-24

Sep 19, 2010 - 3:20 AM KALAMAZOO, Mich.(AP) -- Austin Dantin threw two touchdowns and rushed for another to lead Toledo past Western Michigan 37-24 Saturday.

Kenny Stafford finished with 84 receiving yards and one TD for the Rockets (2-1, 2-0 Mid-American Conference).

Alex Carder had 403 passing yards for Western Michigan (1-2, 0-1 Mid-American Conference). The Bronco's Jordan White finished with 170 receiving yards, and Juan Nunez had 100.

Dantin's TD passes included a 73-yarder to Stafford. Dantin also rushed 2 yards to score.

Desmond Marrow added another TD after intercepting a pass at Western Michigan's 15.

Carder had a 16-yard TD pass to White with 42 seconds left in the half.

The Broncos started to rally after John Potter kicked a 36-yarder, followed by Carder and Antoin Scriven each rushing for TDs.

The Rockets answered that with Eric Page's 98-yard kickoff return to score.
