South Dakota rolls past NW Oklahoma State 48-14

Sep 19, 2010 - 1:02 AM VERMILLION, S.D.(AP) -- Dante Warren threw for four touchdowns and Chris Ganious rushed for 118 yards as South Dakota beat Northwest Oklahoma State 48-14 Saturday.

Warren, who had 433 yards of total offense in last week's 41-38 upset of Minnesota, completed 13 of 19 passes for 156 yards against NW Oklahoma. He added 45 yards on the ground, including a 30-yard TD. He had touchdown passes of 10, 26, 30 and 9 yards for the Coyotes (2-1).

Tom Flanagan caught two of those TD passes, and also threw for a 75-yard touchdown to Will Powell after taking a lateral from Warren.

Kyle Jech completed 20 of 34 passes for 251 yards for NW Oklahoma State (0-2) - an NAIA school - but was intercepted five times. Kent McDonald had seven receptions for 132 yards and a touchdown for the Rangers.

Ganious did his damage for South Dakota on just 11 carries - one a 62-yard touchdown run.
