Chattanooga rallies to beat Furman 36-28

Oct 23, 2010 - 10:10 PM GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) -- Joel Bradford caught 15 passes for 274 yards and a score as Chattanooga scored 26 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to beat Furman 36-28 on Saturday.

B.J. Coleman, who completed 33 of 58 passes, threw for 432 yards and two touchdowns but had four interceptions for the Mocs (5-2, 4-1 Southern Conference). Chattanooga also snapped the Paladins 15-game winning streak in the series.

Furman (4-3, 2-2) took a 28-10 lead with 9:19 left in the third quarter when Cody Worley connected with Colin Anderson on a 27-yard touchdown pass. Worley finished with 129 yards passing, including a 17-yard touchdown pass and a 5-yard touchdown run for the Paladins.

But Chattanooga's J.J. Jackson and Erroll Wynn each scored on a 5-yard run, Bradford caught a 9-yard touchdown and Chris Awuah had an 11-yard rushing score in the fourth to give the Mocs the victory.
