Montana State edges Northern Colorado 37-35

Oct 23, 2010 - 11:24 PM BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) -- Denarius McGhee passed for a career-high 400 yards and four touchdowns - including a 77-yarder to Orenzo Davis - as Montana State rallied to defeat Northern Colorado 37-35 Saturday.

McGhee was 21 for 33 and threw two scoring strikes to Julius Lloyd for the Bobcats (6-2, 4-1 Big Sky) who rolled up 539 total yards.

Dylan Orms was 19 for 34 for 344 yards and four touchdowns and Jace Davis had eight receptions for 207 yards and two scores for the Bears (2-6, 1-5).

Northern Colorado, which led by 11 early, moved to within 37-35 with 3:10 to play on a 10-yard pass from Orms to Chris Morris, but the Bobcats recovered a short kickoff and ran out the clock.

Davis also rushed for 107 yards on 22 carries.
