South Dakota State beats Youngstown State 30-20

Oct 23, 2010 - 10:40 PM BROOKINGS, S.D. (AP) -- Thomas O'Brien threw two touchdowns and South Dakota State beat Youngstown State 30-20 Saturday.

The Jackrabbits (3-4, 3-2 Missouri Valley) finished with 492 total offense yards to the Penguins' 402 yards.

Peter Reifenrath kicked 3 field goals for the Jackrabbits, and Kyle Minett ran for a touchdown.

One of O'Brien's TD passes was a 41-yarder to Aaron Rollin in the fourth quarter. He also connected with Colin Cochart with 1:14 left in the first half of the game.

O'Brien finished with 283 passing yards.

Youngstown State's Kurt Hess threw two touchdowns, connecting with Dominique Barnes and Ely Ducatel. Hess finished with 263 passing yards.

Stephen Blose also kicked two field goals for the Penguins.
