Central Arkansas blows out Nicholls State 31-7

Oct 24, 2010 - 1:42 AM THIBODAUX, La. (AP) -- Seth Allison returned a fumble for a touchdown and Jestin Love had a 98-yard interception return for a score as Central Arkansas forced four turnovers in a 31-7 win over Nicholls State on Saturday.

Central Arkansas defensive end Jermayne Lett sacked Nicholls State quarterback LaQuint Caston on the first play from scrimmage and forced the fumble that was picked up and returned for a score by Allison as the Bears took a 7-0 lead only 13 seconds into the game.

Love's interception return gave the Bears (4-3, 1-2 Southland Conference) a 24-0 lead with 5:57 left in the third quarter.

Jackie Hinton added a 2-yard touchdown run to push the Central Arkansas lead to 31-0 entering the fourth quarter.

The Colonels (2-5, 1-2) scored the game's final points on a 6-yard touchdown run by Jesse Turner on the first play of the final quarter.
