Oct 31, 2010 - 5:22 AM SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. (AP) -- Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo used a balanced attack to defeat St. Francis, Pa., 41-33 Saturday night.

Fullbacks Jordan Yocum and Jake Romanelli scored five touchdowns and Tony Smith connected with Dominique Johnson for a 21-yard scoring strike for the Mustangs (6-3) in the nonconference game.

Yocum scored three times and Romanelli twice, and Mark Rodgers led the Mustangs with 79 of the team's 190 rushing yards. Smith was 19-of-24 for 231 yards passing. Johnson finished with eight receptions for 115 yards.

John Kelly threw three touchdown passes for St. Francis (1-7).

Before the game, survivors of the Cal Poly plane crash that occurred 50 years ago Friday were honored. The crash on Oct. 29, 1960 in Toledo, Ohio, killed 22 people, including 16 Mustang players.
