Babers, Black lead Prairie View

Oct 8, 2010 - 4:24 AM PINE BLUFF, Ark. (AP) -- Donald Babers ran for 138 yards and a touchdown, and K.J. Black completed 24 of 32 passes for 199 yards and a score in Prairie View's 21-6 victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Thursday night.

The Panthers (3-3, 3-2 SWAC) took a 14-6 lead with 2:04 left in the fourth quarter on Black's 8-yard scoring pass to Michael Benson and put the game away when Brenan Gordon returned an interception 79 yards for a touchdown with 46 seconds remaining.

Shaun Stephens added 12 catches for 114 yards for Prairie View.

Chris Ewald made 45- and 19-yard field goals for Pine Bluff (2-3, 1-2).
