Lafayette holds on to beat Harvard 35-18

Oct 17, 2009 - 7:53 PM BOSTON(AP) -- Rob Curley threw two touchdowns and DeAndre' Morrow ran for two scores, leading Lafayette to a 35-18 win against Harvard on Saturday.

Curley was 21-for-31 passing with 210 yards, two touchdowns and an interception for the Leopards (5-1). Morrow ran for 85 yards and two scores on 11 carries and caught four balls for 54 yards.

Lafayette took a 28-3 lead into halftime after Morrow scored on runs of 6 and 23 yards. Tyrell Coon also scored on a 5-yard run for the Leopards, and Curley connected with Kyle Hayes on a 4-yard touchdown before the half.

Collie Winters threw both of his touchdown passes in the fourth quarter for the Crimson (3-2). But Curley's 6-yard passing score to Jeff Cumming in the fourth put the game out of reach.

Winters finished 19-for-36 with 233 yards and an interception for Harvard.
