St. Francis (Pa.) shuts out Sacred Heart 41-0

Sep 18, 2010 - 8:27 PM LORETTO, Pa.(AP) -- St. Francis, (Pa.) had seven interceptions, including one returned 75 yards for a touchdown by Matthew Parker, in a 41-0 win over Sacred Heart on Saturday.

The interceptions by seven different Red Flash (1-2, 1-0 Northeast Conference) players were the difference, as St. Francis managed just 49 more yards than the Pioneers (1-2, 0-2).

St. Francis took the lead early, scoring just five plays after the opening kickoff. John Kelly threw a 16-yard touchdown pass to Kyle Harbridge, capping a drive which featured a 52-yard pass play between the two.

Harbridge finished with 115 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries, and had 84 more yards and another touchdown on five catches. Kelley was 11-for-18 passing for 141 yards and three touchdowns.

It was the first shutout of Sacred Heart since a 24-0 loss to Monmouth on Oct. 7, 2006.
