Central Arkansas defeats Murray State 21-20

Sep 19, 2010 - 2:56 AM CONWAY, Ark.(AP) -- Jackie Hinton scored a go-ahead touchdown with 4:21 remaining, and Central Arkansas blocked a late field-goal attempt to hold on for a 21-20 victory against Murray State on Saturday night.

After Hinton went 22 yards for his second TD of the game for the Bears (3-0), Murray State (0-3) drove to the Central Arkansas 33. Defensive back Marcus Dumas got his hand on Kienan Cullen's 50-yard field-goal try with 34 seconds to play.

Nathan Dick completed 19 of 33 passes for 210 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 47 yards for the Bears. Hinton ran for 32 yards on nine carries.

Jeff Ehrhardt threw for 247 yards, two scores and two interceptions on 35-of-46 passing for Murray State. Both TD tosses went to Daniel Ard, who had seven receptions for 72 yards.
