North Dakota beats Northwestern State 49-24

Sep 26, 2010 - 1:47 AM GRAND FORKS, N.D.(AP) -- Jake Landry threw for 300 yards and four touchdowns and North Dakota beat Northwestern State 49-24 Saturday night.

North Dakota (2-2) was trailing 10-7 until three Landry TDs gave the Fighting Sioux a 28-10 halftime lead over the Demons (1-3).

Landry connected with Greg Hardin on three of his TD passes, including a 76-yarder and a 52-yarder. Hardin finished with five catches for 177 yards.

Chris Anderson also caught a 71-yard TD pass from Landry.

Josh Murray started the third quarter rushing 74 yards for a TD, and added another touchdown on a 60-yard punt return in the fourth.

Jake Miller had a 1-yard rushing TD for the Fighting Sioux.

Northwestern State's Paul Harris threw for 247 yards and two touchdowns, including a 68-yard TD pass to T.C. Henry. Rumeall Morris threw a 40-yard TD pass to Adrian Reese, and John Shaughnessy kicked a field goal.
