Northern Arizona defeats Idaho State 32-7

Sep 26, 2010 - 1:47 AM POCATELLO, Idaho(AP) -- Michael Herrick threw for 210 yards and two touchdowns to lead Northern Arizona to a 32-7 victory over Idaho State on Saturday.

Herrick completed 21 of 36 passes for the Lumberjacks (2-1, 1-0 Big Sky), and running back Zach Bauman rushed for 112 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries.

Russel Hill threw a 21-yard touchdown pass to Roderick Rumble with 2:41 remaining for Idaho State (1-3, 0-2). Hill was sacked five times.

The Northern Arizona defense recorded six sacks, two interceptions and a safety while holding Idaho State to just 37 yards rushing.

The Lumberjacks outgained the Bengals 370-151 and were 5 for 5 on red-zone scoring opportunities.
