Indiana State edges past Missouri State 38-35

Oct 17, 2010 - 12:11 AM TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (AP) -- Ronnie Fouch threw three touchdowns and Cory Little kicked a field goal in overtime to give Indiana State a 38-35 win over Missouri State on Saturday.

Fouch threw a 36-yard TD pass to Ednut Egberongbe early in the first quarter. Fouch's arm helped the Sycamores (4-2, 2-1 Missouri Valley) catch up to the Bears (2-4, 1-2) in the second half, starting with a 25-yard TD pass to Justin Hilton, bringing the score to 35-28.

Fouch found Hilton again a few minutes later for a 35-yard TD pass, tying the game at 35 with 6:31 left in the game.

Fouch finished with 311 passing yards, and Hilton finished with 146 receiving yards.

Darrius Gates also rushed for 119 yards and two touchdowns.

Missouri State's Cody Kirby rushed for two touchdowns and threw a 59-yard TD pass to Jermaine Saffold.

Chris Douglas and Stephen Johnston each ran for touchdowns.
