Southeast Missouri wins 8th straight 24-17

Oct 30, 2010 - 10:13 PM CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (AP) -- Henry Harris ran for two touchdowns and Southeast Missouri extended its winning streak to eight with a 24-17 victory over Tennessee-Martin on Saturday.

Harris led the Redhawks (8-1, 7-0 Ohio Valley) with 87 yards and quarterback Matt Scheible added 73 rushing yards and a TD.

A.J. Williams returned a kickoff 91 yards for a touchdown and also scored on a 1-yard run for the Skyhawks (4-5, 3-3).

Both of Harris' TDs came on 8-yard runs in the fourth quarter after scores by Tennessee-Martin. Scheible scored on a 7-yard run in the first and added 108 passing yards.

Williams led the Skyhawks with 55 rushing yards on seven carries.
