Pryor, Eastern Kentucky edge Murray State 28-21

Oct 31, 2010 - 12:16 AM RICHMOND, Ky. (AP) -- Quarterback T.J. Pryor scored on a 29-yard run with 4:19 remaining and Eastern Kentucky held on for a 28-21 Ohio Valley Conference victory over Murray State on Saturday.

Pryor carried 14 times for 79 yards, including a 3-yard touchdown in the first quarter. He also completed 10 of 17 passes for 140 yards, including a 49-yard touchdown to Orlandus Harris that gave the Colonels (3-5, 2-2) a 21-10 lead 40 seconds before halftime.

After Pryor's run gave Eastern Kentucky its final lead, the Racers (3-5, 2-3) drove from their 38 with 2:58 remaining to the Eastern Kentucky 21, using all their timeouts. Casey Brockman was sacked for an 8-yard loss on second-and-10, then threw incomplete twice to turn the ball over to the Colonels with 2:21 left.

Brockman completed 31 of 56 passes for 299 yards for the Racers, who also got 63 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries from Mike Harris.
