Holy Cross extends Gilmore through 2018
Dec 12, 2014 - 4:36 PM Worcester, MA (SportsNetwork.com) - Holy Cross has added a three-year extension to football coach Tom Gilmore's contract through the 2018 season, the Patriot League university announced Friday.Gilmore, a two-time Patriot League Coach of the Year, has a 60-64 record in 11 seasons with the Crusaders, including 35-31 in league games.
His tenure has been highlighted by the 2009 campaign in which Holy Cross went 9-3 overall, won the Patriot League title and advanced to the FCS playoffs.
Holy Cross finished 4-8 this season. The Crusaders are expected to return 15 of their 22 starters next year.
