Clemson LB Boulware out with injury
Nov 21, 2015 - 11:17 PM CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) Starting linebacker Ben Boulware has left Clemson's game against Wake Forest with an unspecified injury.The top-ranked Tigers announced Boulware's status in the third quarter on Saturday. It did not give additional details about the injury.
Boulware came into the game tied for the team lead with B.J. Goodson at 100 tackles. He left in the second quarter and had his upper body checked out on the trainer's table.
Boulware had a sack and a forced fumble against the Demon Deacons. He is a 5-foot-11, 240-pound junior from Anderson.
Clemson also was without starting cornerback Mackensie Alexander, who hurt his knee last week in a victory at Syracuse.
