Arizona State hires Burns as running backs coach
Jan 7, 2016 - 10:27 PM TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) Arizona State hired Kodi Burns as running backs coach Thursday.The former Auburn quarterback and receiver spent the past season as wide receivers coach at Middle Tennessee State, and was running backs coach at Samford in 2014.
Burns played at Auburn from 2007-10, catching a touchdown pass in the Tigers' 2011 national championship victory over Oregon. He was an offensive assistant at his alma mater in 2013.
Burns replaces Bo Graham, the son of head coach Todd Graham who left the program before the season.
