Oklahoma hires Thibodeaux as new defensive line coach
Feb 24, 2016 - 6:55 PM NORMAN, Okla. (AP) Oklahoma has hired former player Calvin Thibodeaux as defensive line coach.Coach Bob Stoops announced the hiring on Wednesday.
Thibodeaux spent last season as defensive line coach at Kansas and previously coached at Tulsa, Dartmouth and Navarro Junior College. He was also a graduate assistant at Houston. He replaces Diron Reynolds, who resigned earlier this month after one season at Oklahoma.
Thibodeaux was a defensive lineman at OU from 2002-06 and was second-team All-Big 12 in 2005.
Thibodeaux says returning to Oklahoma as a coach is a dream come true.
