Arkansas RB Walker breaks foot, out for rest of spring

(AP) Arkansas running back Kody Walker broke his right foot during practice Tuesday and will miss the remainder of the spring, Razorbacks coach Bret Bielema said Wednesday.Bielema says the injury required surgery, and that the sixth-year senior is expected to make a full recovery before preseason practice begins in August.
The 6-foot-2, 256-pound Walker ran for 394 yards on 90 carries last season for Arkansas. He entered this spring as the Razorbacks' top healthy running back, with Rawleigh Williams not facing contact after a neck injury last season and top signee Devwah Whaley not yet on campus.
Arkansas will cap its spring with the Red-White game April 23.
