No. 15 Georgia loses QB Jacob Eason to knee injury
Sep 2, 2017 - 11:16 PM ATHENS, Ga. (AP) — Quarterback Jacob Eason has left No. 15 Georgia's game against Appalachian State because of a left knee injury, leaving the Bulldogs with freshman Jake Fromm to guide the offense. Eason was hurt on a late hit out of bounds. Mountaineers defensive tackle Myquon Stout was called for a personal foul in the first quarter Saturday. Eason limped back onto the field and then collapsed behind the line. Fromm quickly began to warm up on the sideline while trainers assisted Eason and then helped the sophomore off the field. Georgia announced Eason was out "for now." Eason was taken to the locker room. ___ More AP college football: http://collegefootball.ap.org and http://www.twitter.com/AP_Top25No one has shouted yet.
