CFB Note - Iowa State Lanning, Joel

Oct 17, 2017 - 6:41 AM LB Joel Lanning, his snaps at quarterback aside, is making himself into an NFL prospect with his stellar play at middle linebacker. He led the team with 10 tackles against Kansas, 2.5 of which went for a loss. Given how effective he's been in his first year at linebacker, it's not hard to imagine an NFL team being intrigued with how he can contribute as he gets more experience on that side of the ball.
