Orange DBs Cordy, Martin to miss rest of season

Oct 31, 2017 - 12:20 AM Syracuse defensive backs Antwan Cordy and Jordan Martin will miss the remainder of the season due to injuries, coach Dino Babers announced Monday.

Cordy has been sidelined since sustaining a hairline fracture in his lower leg against Central Connecticut State in the Orange's season opener. The redshirt junior free safety also missed 10 games last season because of a forearm injury.

Martin, who replaced Cordy in the lineup, injured his wrist during the first half of a 27-24 win against then-No. 2 Clemson on Oct. 13. A graduate transfer from Toledo, Martin collected 99 tackles during his college career.
