Pittsburgh Bowl Projections 2022: Week 5

Going forward, we will be tracking the bowl projections for your Pittsburgh Panthers. This will be something that will be weekly now that we are getting more things together here at Cardiac Hill. Coming off a tough loss to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, the Panthers took quite a tumble in these projections. We will take a look weekly at where 24/7 sports, ESPN, and CBS Sports project the Pittsburgh Panthers will be going bowling.

Mayo Bowl

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina

Opponent: Maryland Terripans

ESPN

Wasabi Fenway Bowl

Location: Boston, Massachusetts

Bonagura opponent: UCF Knights

Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl

Location: El Paso, Texas

Schlabach opponent: Washington Huskies

CBS Sports

Cheez-It Bowl

Location: Orlando, Florida

Opponent: Baylor Bears

The Panthers still have a lot of the season in front of them to improve their chances of playing in a more prestigious bowl game. It all starts with a win this Saturday against the Virginia Tech Hokies. It seems like most still have the Pittsburgh Panthers finishing relatively well. Especially CBS Sports, as the Cheez-It Bowl gets the second pick from the ACC after the New York Six bowls. Every other bowl game on the list gets the picks of four through eight.
